Since its creation, ADCOME has been active in the scene, as a sustainable community development actor, placing more emphasis in bridging the digital divide, thereby helping poorer communities to incorporate different approaches to development in order to cope with the increasing challenges of globalization.         

ADCOME would not be able to carryout dynamic projects without the support of other organizations in its goal to "Bridging IT and Education." However, there is still a need for more partners to be involved in the various projects and programs

FUNDING PARTNERS

The MTN Foundation in Cameroon is the main sponsor of the MTN School Connectivity Project; a component of the Computer and Internet Access Centers (C.I.A.C.) Program. With ADCOME, they have agreed to fund the construction of fifty (50) computer laboratories by the year 2010 throughout Cameroon and so far about 30 of such centers has been inaugurated already.

TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS

Intersat Ltd, based in Mombasa, Kenya, is an organization that offers unbeatable Broadband Internet connectivity via Satellite across Africa. Its VSAT link provides a high speed Internet trunk connection to the global Internet network designed for Internet Service Providers and Voice Carriers. Learnthings was established in 1999 and has a vast experience in creating interactive digital and e-learning material. They are the main content and training provider for the NEPAD e-Schools project in 16 African Countries, and have also built curriculum materials for Africa, England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.

DigitaL Links International is a not for profit company based in the United Kingdom. In August 2003 Digital Links became a registered charity in the UK. Digital Links International has been working for 5 years to limit strain on the world´s resources, and transform lives through technology. They have provided computers to ADCOME in the implementation of the MTN School Connectivity Program in Cameroon, HIV-awareness centres in Tanzania, and thousands of chronically under resourced schools across the developing world.

Present in over 1,100 universities in over 105 countries and territories, AIESEC, the world´s largest student organization, is the international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential so as to have a positive impact in society. With this positive spirit, ADCOME found it necessary in sponsoring its vision by being a partner to AISEC as its primary goal concern students.

The organization started in 1946 as the International Association for Economic and Commercial Science Students with the vision to develop friendly relations amongst students to always maintain world peace

Implementation Partners

The MOL (Matera OnLine Newspaper) consists of writing an international online newspaper, Built in a network of several young people in different languages.

The MOL wants to respond to the growing demand for schools to leave their traditional isolation to share ideas and projects with other schools and collaborate with professionalism.

The online news is completed by school students involved in the project. Young people from 5 to 19 years can use this tool to compare and share their ideas.  It is a genuine "virtual market place where young people from around the world can meet and discuss, overcoming cultural differences.

IAI (l´Institut Africain d´Informatique) is an interstate school that works to promote the knowledge of ICTs in its eleven (11) member States (Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Congo, Côte d´Ivoire, Central African Republic, Gabon, Niger, Senegal, Chad and Togo). Training at IAI is not just meant for students but also for enterprise personnel and administrators. IAI Cameroon was established on October 1st 1999.
